Leucine is the most powerful of the three BCAAs. LEUCINE PROTEIN CAPS taken before and after training will enhance recovery, pump and place the body in a heightened state of hypertrophy due to increased protein synthesis. In skeletal muscle leucine stimulates protein synthesis through increased insulin secretion and via an amino acid sensor, mTOR. Leucine has a 10 times greater impact on protein synthesis than any other amino, but the the presence of other essential amino acids is needed, since complete muscle protein synthesis cannot occur unless all nine essential amino acids are present.
